A Loving Recipe

For as long as I can remember, I have always had a love for Eatmore bars. They're a fond memory for me growing up and I've found a way to make them at home and now I'm giving you my recipe to enjoy, and make out of love for you and your loved ones this Valentines day.

Cooking and baking are a part of my unique "Spiritual Recipe" as a transmutor of negative and energy worker there is a lot that goes into my food not only for my family but for my friends and clients also. It can also be considered one of my love languages; Acts of Service. (It's no wonder I do what I do on a personality level, and maybe that will be a Blog post down the road... Love Languages)

So here we go! My all time fave candy recipe, beginners can do it quite easily and you will love them more, then the store bought candy ... TRUST ME. you can box this up very cute it makes a stellar gift of Love and it stays fresh in the fridge for weeks, months in the freezer or on the counter for a few days.

Eatmore Bars

By Marliana Alisemon

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of salted peanuts, coarsely chopped

  • 1 1/3 cup sprouted oats

  • 1/3 cup crunchy or smooth peanut butter

  • 1 1/8 cup of golden or light corn syrup

  • 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  • You will want to line the bottom of a 9x13" baking pan/casserole. You can be cool like me and trace around the bottom on the parchment paper and cut it to fit in the bottom, once it's in, give the pan and paper a light spray with cooking oil.

  • If you haven't chopped your peanuts yet, you can do it by hand or in a food processor. Don't fine grind them, remember coarsely chopped. Place them bad boys in a large bowl and mix in your sprouted oats.

  • Mix the peanut butter and corn syrup together in a saucepan (small or medium in size) heat over medium heat until the mixture begins to boil. Turn it down a bit and stir constantly 8-10min. remove from heat and immediately stir in your chocolate chips until melted and incorporated.

  • pour the peanut butter mixture over your oats and nuts. Stir until well mixed. I've learned over creating this recipe to spray your mixing utensils with a light coat of cooking spray also! you can smash this into your pan, I would recommend parchment paper in between your hands ans the mixture as it's super hot and will stick to your skin. You can now cover it and stick it in the fridge for the day. When you're ready to eat, or box up let stand on the counter for 10 minutes to soften a bit. You can cut them into squares, or bars and you're done!

I would LOVE to hear your experience with this recipe, share your pictures of it.

I stand by what I said they're better than what you buy in the store, I mean it!

Happiest of Valentine's day and week. Get out there every day and spread the Love, give back to those in need and show the kindness meant for this world... And make your special someone some of this amazing candy from the heart.
